Privacy & analytics
CADBIMJoe keeps aggregate page totals without analytics cookies. A small first-party visitor identifier is used only after a visitor allows it.
Counted without analytics cookies
When a public page is requested, the analytics database increments one hourly total for that page path. It does not create a record for the individual request or attach the total to a person, browser, IP address, or other identifier.
Collected only after permission
A random visitor identifier, a browser-session identifier, the page path, the referring website's domain, a broad country code, device category, browser category, and the date and time of the visit.
What is not collected
The analytics database does not store names, email addresses, raw IP addresses, precise location, advertising identifiers, keystrokes, or activity on other websites. Analytics information is not sold or shared for advertising.
Cookies and retention
Aggregate totals and visitor-level analytics older than about 13 months are automatically removed as new visits are recorded.
Your choice
Staying cookieless does not affect the site. The aggregate page total still increases, but the visit is not linked to a browser and cannot be classified as new or returning. A visitor can change the choice at any time. When the site owner signs in to the private dashboard, that browser is automatically opted out of visitor-level analytics.
